Family Picture

The Northern IL Cutting Horse Assocication and Barry's Livestock had a 3 day show at Double G in Sterling IL. BX Photo was on hand to take pictures. I had a rare oppurtunity to have a professional picture taken of my Stallion and three of his "babies". Spider Oak if on the far left, then Mia Oak, Spiders Angel Oak and Cassidy Oak who is also a stallion. Anyone that has tried to get a good picture of one horse can understand how hard it was to get 2 mares and 2 stallions to stand still with their ears up. My friends Christina and Norm helped me get this accomplished. Norm owns Cassidy and Christina and her family have a Spider filly at home. I was so proud of Mia Oak, she earned her certificate of achievment this weekend from NCHA. That is earned by a horse that has earned at least $1500 in approved shows. This is the first one earned by a horse that I bred and raised. Angel is a 2 year old and Cassidy a 3 year old, so they have yet to compete.

Too Small To Be A Cow

This is Angel, she is now in cutting horse training. She started by tracking my Mom's pug Spanky. She later graduated to goats. This was not of my doing, they just were silly enough to get close to her.
